Kacey Stephens- one of my readers asked me this question that is there a laptop that is more powerful than the macbook air but as small as the macbook air if not smaller.?
Well Kacey I have the answer for you Its the samsung 9 series laptop. Go out and buy it cause if its a thin laptop that you are looking for then this is the one for you. Its surely a macbook air killer in every way- just look at how sexy it looks.
The Samsung 9 Series is a compact, lightweight 13.3” laptop released in 2011. It is made from Duralumin, a premium material twice as strong as aluminum, yet no heavier than 3-lbs total. Featured is an Intel Core i5 1.4GHz CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 128GB solid state drive. With its 13-inch display you can enjoy your favorite videos with its screen’s resolution near to perfection. Viewing angles? 9 Series gives you the best viewing angles you keep on looking for a laptop.
As for the screen, it’s LED-backlit and capable of a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and 400-nit brightness. Plus it offers a 160-degree viewing angle for added convenience. Signature are the connectivity options, which include Wi-Fi, built-in WiMax, Bluetooth 3.0, Ethernet, HDMI, and USB. There is however no optical drive. Plus the graphics are restricted to integrated Intel. There are however power-saving batteries with a 6-hour lifespan, and a subwoofer. Now I know you are saying that you need more space but comeon guys just buy a network storage harddrive and use it on wifi, thats the answer to your cry.

How long to charge a samsung laptop before turning on for the first time?
ReplyDeleteSorry to reply late, anyways any laptop you buy should be charged only till the battery is full. Then so a almost full discharge (like 5-10%) before the next charge. Then you can use it as normal.
ReplyDeleteCan I play The Sims 2 on a Samsung R519 Laptop?
ReplyDeletefico score
Yes you will be able to play the sims 2 on hi resolutions and even the sims 3 on med resolution. This lap will handle games like that easily and even the latest games like the the Fifa 2011 on low settings. This is a multimedia laptop so it will do just fine with most games. Just dont expect to run them on very hi end settings. It wont do that. If you want to do serious gaming on the samsung series 9 laptop then you will have to wait for the one with Nvidia ion to come out that will handle games very well.
ReplyDeleteare you sure that there will be a new release with Nvidia graphic card? cuz i already ordered mine... and even if its too late, can i change the graphics card later on?
ReplyDeletehey Sivakorn .. I am not giving a full reply here cause I replied to you in Email.. But yes there is a version that might come out with Nvidia Ion that will be better. It should come out about 6 months from now. And No you cant change the Graphics card later on.
